The story of Dutch Rose Media begins with Natasja Paulssen, founder of Dutch Rose Media. In the beginning of 2012 she wrote a blog about a new kind of Augmented Reality based on image recognition. Inspired by what she saw she took a leap of faith and started her own Augmented Reality agency: Dutch Rose Media.

The team at Dutch Rose Media now consists of 8 people both on the creative and the tech side. With skills ranging from marketing & communication to concept design and from mobile development to game design & 3D animations, our team exceeds in variety. We combine rational technology and creativity in our own unique way.

Each school year we warmly welcome several interns from a wide range of studies. Check our Vacancies to see whom we are looking for or contact us.

At Dutch Rose Media we believe Augmented Reality gives real life a much needed makeover while simultaneously it is helping us make sense of the world around us. We create surprising and magical mobile experiences with Augmented Reality. Augmented Reality is a technology that enables your smartphone or tablet to enrich the world around you. At the same time your augmented-device provides you with visual feedback to help you understand what you see. Put this way, you will understand that Augmented Reality is not simply the next hype. AR is here to stay.

I have never tried that before, so I think I should definitely be able to do that.

Back in the days, a “Dutch Rose” used to be a special polished cut for diamonds. It was based on four characteristics: carat, cut, color and clarity. Combined, these four stood for the quality of the diamond.

Nowadays the Dutch Rose cut isn’t used often anymore for polishing diamonds. But still, the four quality C’s are relevant for life, not just diamonds. We believe quality is indeed based on several different factors and we try to combine all important factors to create valuable concepts and services. Combining passion, creativity, tech knowledge and innovation makes us who we are.

The Dutch Rose diamond cut stood for quality back in the days, Dutch Rose Media stands for quality now.
